    • Hi my name is Gail Whitaker (Rogerson) . I stumbled on this whilst researching my Dads RAF history. Sadly my dad Samuel Dickson Rogerson died 35 years ago aged 60. I can remember him telling us whilst small that he was shot down on the longest day. He met up with Laurence Horrigan one year when we were in holiday by looking through a phone book for the address.
