Leendert Jonker

This man served with 320 Squadron and was very heavily wounded during a combined operation with 98 Squadron out of RAF Lasham to Lanvéoc-Poulmic near Brest on 25 October 1943. His plane FR169 (NO-L) made an emergency landing at Exeter and he later underwent pioneering surgery to repair his arm. Here are some links to various aspects of his incredible story…
